OMNILUX Creates New Color Capability for Retail Display & Mood Illumination

Unlike traditional static optics, OMNILUX technology has the unique ability to embed static information content, such as color, into the projected field of illumination. The above static color effects can be created with a single multicolor LED and the OMNILUX resonant optic. This color effect is ideal for retail, wall washing, swimming pool, theatrical and other “mood illumination” market segments.

OMNILUX technology can also embed dynamic information content, such as color, into the projected field of illumination. The above dynamic color effects is that of a continuously changing color pattern which can be created with a single multicolor LED and the OMNILUX resonant optic. This color effect is ideal for retail, wall washing, swimming pool, theatrical and other “mood illumination” market segments.

The OMNILUX resonant optical system involves motion and is therefore able to uniformly blend multiple colors into a single homogeneous field of illumination. OMNILUX technology also eliminates the color separation common to many white LEDs.

OMNILUX optics can operate adjustably from a narrow spot to a 90 degrees or greater beam pattern with high uniformity. Adjustable optics enables companies to produce a smaller number of luminaire models servicing a wide range of market needs thereby reducing operating & distribution costs.

The high degree of directionality and targeting capability of the OMNILUX technology allows for improved performance and reduced wattage LEDs.
